AP 101: A Crash Course in Piano(Beginners)
AP 101 is a three month course that covers the notes, major scales, major chords, minor chords, passing chord church vamps, dominant 7ths, major 7ths, minor 7ths, suspended 2 chords, as well as all of their inversions, substitution chords, basic piano fills and runs, the Musical Roman Numeral System, and how to use it to substitute chords and play by ear.
By the time you finish this course you will be familiar with all of these chords, as well as their inversions. Of course, well-known church songs (such as "Surround Me O Lord" by Clint Brown, "Can't Nobody Do Me Like Jesus", "Blessed Be Your Name" and more) will be taught along the way using gospel sheet music (shows the chords not classical bar and staff) to show you how we use all of this in church music. We'll learn them simple first and then add more chords, fills, and runs to make them more advanced!
